$500 Camera | $25 Holga Pinhole Lens | 23Mb RAW File
My First Pinhole Camera Lens Shot
So I bought this new Canon Rebel T3i DSLR. I have been checking out the interesting things you can do with LensBaby lenses. I bought a LensBaby Muse used on eBay, but I haven't figured out how to put it to good use yet.
Researching LensBaby prices on Amazon led me to discover they sell Holga lenses, cheap, for Canon, as well. Holga is a maker of Eastern-Bloc cheap, plastic toy film cameras that make interesting Lo-Fi images. Now they make lenses to create similar-looking images on a DSLR.
So, basically, I spent $500 on a camera, added a $25 cheapo lens to create terrible-looking photos.
This the Holga Pinhole lens. I also bought a 60mm Holga plastic lens that makes crummy-looking shots, too.
I'll have LensBaby shots forthcoming, once I figure out how to best use it & have the time to play with it!
One more thing: I thought it hilarious that I was processing a RAW file of this primitive image that was 23Mb in size, out of the camera!

I'm looking forward to your LensBaby shots. I don't have one myself, but I've seen some really interesting and beautiful shots done by others using them.
