Our trip to Spain to see my fianceé’s parents has become an annual event; even last year when Diego was only four months old. Now, at nearly fifteen months, he’s getting on his third outbound plane ever - there was a family trip to Texas last year as well - only now he’s much more aware of what is happening. As expected by his mom, Diego got incredibly excited by all the runway activity and I prepped him for the rumble of take off by loudly reenacting what it’ll feel and sound like while shaking him on my knee and doing a fairly impressive impersonation of her engines with my mouth.
