Diego, sat before our dried and dead Christmas Tree. I love the colored lights and how they look with a swath of bokeh, so forgive me for my reluctance to take down our Seasonal decorations. As Diego plays with his car, I play with my camera. Each of us practice with the things we love. I think I am a bit like my mom in that I want things to be beautiful, especially when I am framing something. Those twinkling lights make me wish Christmas could last longer, but it’s over now and we really do need the space back for the kids’ bookshelf. Sigh. Better start taking more shots during the Golden Hour. The days are getting longer again, so there’ll be more of a chance I could catch Dieguito with one of his toys bathed in gold sun.
