Only three days left of Diego’s 365 and I find myself completely unprepared to wrap this thing up suitably. This happened so quickly - the project and my son’s rapid ascent from baby to toddler. I recall so much the random unsolicited advice of countless older supermarket and box store patrons who explained that I must appreciate these moments, seize the times I have with my young son as if they were the most precious metal. And I have! But still, their warning that “it will all go by too fast” proved to be true. I blinked and it seems so much valuable time has passed. I’ll miss these times so much. I’ll miss who he was even as I fully welcome who he will become.
