Firstly huge thanks for the lovely response to my street shots. Secondly thanks to whoever it was that posted a beautiful blue flower shot - I thought cornflower but it may have been love in the mist - and inspired me to go out and take mine. A bit late and dark (1st of June for goodness sake!) but it's very pretty close up. Just been talking to Rebecca who has been burgled while on holiday - not huge amounts taken but very expensive in time and tidy up and general affrontedness. The police think they've already got him and I witnessed a couple of chases during the week so fingers crossed.
This is stunningly beautiful, Judith. Fabulous focus and color!
So sorry to read of your neighbor's burglary. So true about the affrontedness of it all. Such a violation of security. I do hope the perp has been apprehended.
Poor Rebecca....no matter what has been taken it must be so unsettling to have someone going through your stuff. I could think of a word for them but shall refrain!
Beautiful focus here, the structure on this flower is quite amazingly intricate when you look closely.....Max is doing Maccano at this moment......a very similar structure!
This is a different cornflower and I've got to know it too! You do need to get up close and personal to see that beauty and sort of wildness about the petals! Great photo! Poor Rebecca - its awful to think about!
