I am constantly at war with borage but I have to admit that in January & February it's about the only source of greenery for the hens. At this time of year its spiky stems are best avoided unless you've got your gloves on.
I will post a few photos of Adams art next week after the examiners have been round - I had a sudden panic that there are rules about it. I didn't take any decent photos yesterday as there were crowds of people and a queue to get in and out of Adam's display (which was nice). I generally only encounter hockey parents at Adam's school but at the art exhibition it often seems like a trawl through my past life - there was art work from the son of the obstetrician involved in Adam's delivery (in fact Adam designed the invitations and used his artwork which wasn't something I imagined at the time), the daughter of one of my old bosses when I worked in biotech (fabulous painting) and the son of one of my ex-colleagues. It was lovely to see them.
Got to dash - Murray's having a resurgence!
Would love to see Adams art work.....I have never seen proper art work done by someone really good who is taking art as a future career ......will be so much advanced since our school art lessons! I do not know Borage....have heard of it but never as far as I know seen it....pretty blue flower!
Perfect focus on the little blue flower, and I just love the bokeh on the rest of the plant! Yes, borage is pretty invasive.....I used to have it in my yard, and it was ready to take over until I pulled it out....very pretty, though....FAV on this one!!
