Rachel and I nipped down to Sussex to have tea and scones with mum and dad in a small celebration of their 57th (58th??) wedding anniversary - anyway a long time. It was good to see them and my sister took us to Petworth for a late lunch afterwards. It's a very pretty old town and we called on a friend of hers who has just bought a cottage with a huge fireplace and very ancient beams all over the place. Rather lovely but not without its challenges.
This looks a lovely old location. Not a place I've been to but so reminiscent of many villages in parts of England. You did well to capture it without tourists!
Nice old street with a lot of personality! Yes, I can tell you from personal experience that old buildings come with a whole set of challenges, and ours are not even as old as the ones in England!!
