I have a poorly dog. The vet thinks pancreatitis/something gastric which is a lot better than a disc problem that I was fearing at one point. He's had a shot of painkiller and a shot of anti-sickness and is crashed out in his basket so hopefully he'll have perked up when he wakes up.
He certainly does look sorry for himself. What a lovely capture though. I like your composition and angle on this. Confess that I don't normally fall for pet pictures but this one makes a fav.
Poor Monty, he does have trouble with his health. He looks very sorry for himself here but it's a great photo! I expect he's thinking 'does that women never give a dog a bit of peace even when he's I'll?'
@happypat I did feel a bit bad for taking advantage - I can't normally take this sort of photo as he gets up and sniffs the camera! I would never get another pedigree dog Pat - he has had everything that cocker spaniels are prone to - well I hope he has - there may be more things!
Oh, so sorry to hear your dog is poorly. Mine is too. My lurcher (greyhound/whippet cross) is nearly 14 and is getting arthritis in her front legs, she is just not herself :( Love this shot, it explains all. What a lovely coat so wonderfully captured. Fav!
Sorry to hear he is poorly!
