We ventured to Cottenham to multi-task Monty's walk with shopping for bedroom flooring. The sun was out, the sky was blue but it was freezing (not in my heart :0)) Cottenham is a funny village - virtually all along one very long high street with the magnificent All Saints Church at the end. Walking around though did make us realise what magnificent gardens and views people have.
Sounds a very nice place to live! I'm sure there was a Escape to the Country house there recently! Must be quite hard work with your house all in disarray when you are ill!
@happypat there is not a room upstairs that isn't a mess Pat (well the bathroom's ok). Even Rachel's bedroom that we're sleeping in has a rack of Nigel's clothes that we're falling over but it's lovely and cosy in there so that's been fine. Our bedroom is horrible though it's looking big - might put a photo up tomorrow!
@judithg I am envious of your bedroom make over. I looked at ours this morning & it needs a good declutter, doesn't help that it has two black bags of charity stuff in there. I always think as long as you aren't ashamed if the doctor has to visit you're OK but when ever do you have a doctor visit these days! Are you getting a dressing room like Monica's? 😍
@happypat sadly not! Hopefully all the clothes will be inside wardrobes though (with drawers and shelves in). Hoping we've planned enough. Trying to chose paint colours at the moment - ending up going blue AGAIN!
