Teenaged angst

Apologies for another bird but I’ve been trying to catch the young robins. They are still coming to the feeders with parents and sitting around with their mouths open - a scenario familiar to many of us. They do seem to be getting a bit braver so I suspect the parents will tell them to crack on soon. I’ve also realised the goldfinches are going to get expensive in Niger seed!

Weather: bright with cold Northwesterly (according to our Fridge visitors who were waiting in it!)
Covid: local cases hovering around zero.
Good thing: numbers dropping at the Community Fridge as Covid having less impact.
What a lovely capture and fun narrative

Oh nice. I saw a bird like this today and thought it was a wren because of the colouring but perhaps it was a young Robin. Food supplies are going down fast. I'm better at buying bird and dog food than food for me...

Fabulous shot of this hungry youngster! Love the fresh colors.
Such good news about the reduction in need at your food bank! Things are looking up after a desperate year.

Bird shots always please me! Well, except all the turkey vultures I saw this week. They are not attractive!
