Cocktail hour

We walked down to a nice restaurant in town for dinner - it’s sort of new as it’s in a new extension on the old Union Bar & since we last went they’ve increased the table numbers and also the drinks list. This involved gin and Prosecco and was very good indeed as you can tell because I’d drunk quite a bit before getting round to the photo! The windows were wide open for ventilation purposes so it was interesting when the rain started lashing down.
I have ordered all the bathroom stuff except for the bath! We thought we’d chosen one but it’s too tall so I’m back on the search.

Weather: nice and then thunderstorm
Covid: feels like we’re living with it
Good thing: the bathroom showroom lady showed me photos of the accident from inside the showroom and it’s very lucky that there was nobody near the door.

Too tall a bath……that would be difficult to get out if…sounds interesting! A nice deep one would be good. We aren’t having a bath….
