I always enjoy spotting people I know who have switched from shirt and tie to purple and tie-dyed for Strawberry Fair. I went pretty early today and had a nice wander but by the end I was already beginning to feel pretty nervous about taking photos. Firstly I was interrupted from a good shot by a couple of youths with 'Steward' coats on asking if my shots were for personal use - I'm not sure what they were going to do about it if I'd said, 'No'. Then I was accosted by one of our local addicts, good-naturedly asking if I was going to pay people for taking their photos but I felt it could rapidly shift away from good-natured.... It's really a shame about all the drugs - teenagers don't need any encouragement - but these people were all having fun.

Fantastic shots and collage, I got a fright once in a market taking shots and it really scared me, so I am very wary now when out and never take people shots, which is a shame now as looking at yours makes me want to. btw how did you frame the collage like that?
@cookie123 Most people were very happy to have their photos taken - they had dressed to impress after all but the druggies are a bit unpredictable (I hadn't even taken his photo!) I used Picnik Collage and rounded the corners off....
@bpaquette I was using a telephoto - trouble was the camera was pretty conspicuous - maybe my P&S would have been a better bet! Most people were very laud back & easy going - just the odd one or two who were already worse for wear....
This looks like so much fun! Great collage. The more I see of the UK through the project, the most envious I become...it seems that there are more and creative fun events there

Great collage, what is the matter with people these days that they gib at having their photo taken or want money for it? I am delighted when people want to take the whippets and always encourage them. They are unlikely to be professionals making a mint out of them. Some one else's shot is the only way I am ever likely to get my 15 mins of fame!! Good for you to grab these!
