We got passes to the Reichstag Dome despite short notice (hurrah for German efficiency!). Designed by Norman Foster it has walkways going around (one for up and one for down) which give something of an Esher effect and also a fantastic view over Berlin. I'll probably post another view from inside - it was a real highlight of out trip. There is glass in the bottom to allow light to be reflected down from the mirrors (on the right hand side here) and to allow a view into Parliament (though it was too sunny and reflective to see in - maybe things aren't as transparent as they seem!)
Lovely shot, Judith. He is a great exponent of glass in archtecture; we have his iconic "Willis Building" here in Ipswich ... clad in black glass producing a wonderful collage (or melange) of reflections of the surrounding buildings.
