Phew- what a day! I've been on the run all day as my carefully orchestrated schedule was thrown out by it being too dangerous to send Rachel on her bike this morning and the buses being completely erratic. Consequently I ended up running late for a whole day's interviewing at the school I'm a governor at and had to run round the block through the slush with Monty before heading over there in, it turns out, not waterproof boots. Then I ran home to let him out at lunchtime and whipped him round the block again at dinner time. Working at home is SO easy compared with this!!! I enjoy interviewing though - we meet interesting people and I think I know the perfect answers to the questions now I've asked the same ones about ten times!!
So this is a yesterday shot - I walked miles looking for THE bike shot and this isn't it - I think people who own the bikes I like don't leave then in the snow!
Thanks a million for the comments and Favs on yesterday's photo - they made up for the tired legs!!
wow thats a nice bike to leave out in the snow. Great find. Assume its not part of your fleet. Looks like you had a fair bit of snow. I thought all ours would have gone but there is a bit left. I just went out to retrieve Poppy from an inpromtu fox hunting trip to the park and it was lethal out there.
Wow ~ look at that snow! Sounds like you've had a busy day sloshing through it! Fun look at the weather situation in Cambridge! :) Be careful out there!
I am quite tickled by all these notices hung on the railings, I have seen them before on your shots !! I expect there are lots of goings on in Cambridge !!! Love that bike of course !!! I have a very vivid picture in my head of you rushing Monty round the block !
Beaitiful shot. It does have a bit of a Christmas air. We, here in the Mid-Atlantic U.S., have had almost no snow this winter. Actually, almost no winter this winter. Unlike last year.
