Green transportation

Well blatantly one for the theme here although the background was pretty. Such uninspiring weather and my shoulder is getting worse which means it's very difficult to take photos with Monty in tow which is a pain. Anyway - I don't want anybody thinking that I've gone off bike shots!
Love this! Really love the composition, and it's perfect for the theme!

She's baaaaack! I hope someday you get to pick the theme and choose bicycles!!!

I love this color green on this bike. And the background is pretty. The way it's composed almost looks like it's in motion and in and out of the screen quickly.

That is one beautiful lugged frame!
March 18th, 2012
Oh, well done it is.
March 18th, 2012
neat green bike action.
(and sorry to hear that your pain is worse)
March 18th, 2012
nice pov
March 18th, 2012
Yeah for the bike shots! Not so yeah about your shoulder. Maybe Tesco has a new one on offer...? Hope it heals soon.
March 18th, 2012
@jannaellen I'm going to have one transplanted from a kidnapped teenager....
March 18th, 2012
Another one of your bike shots, and what a great composition this is! The cropping you've chosen works so well, and I like the green tones.
March 18th, 2012
How discouraging re your shoulder. I am so sorry. Love this shot especially how you cropped it
March 18th, 2012
A great one for the theme!

Its not a Puch is it? I used to have a bike exactly this colour when I was a teenager. Have you tried the standing on the lead trick? Better than risking your shoulder maybe. Sounds like it needs a rest.
March 18th, 2012
@fueast Oooh that takes me back - I had a Puch - black, smart. I was a bit slack and didn't look at the make. I'm going for the lead between knees technique but he keeps escaping! It's getting very tricky getting clothes on and off - I have to do a sort of shake thing with a coat and anything tight is a nightmare. Back to the physio this week...
March 18th, 2012
@judithg Sound bad. Hope you get some success at the physio.
March 18th, 2012
Great composition and perfect for the green theme! But sorry that you are having such pain that it is limiting your ability to do something you love! Hope you get some relief soon.
March 18th, 2012
Cool green bike, hope your shoulder gets sorted, I find a medicinal joint helps not that I do that sort of thing due to the drugs testing malarkey I have to go through being an astronaut :D
March 18th, 2012
@johnnyfrs LOL - I could really appall my teenagers with that! G&T is a start though!
March 18th, 2012
A bicycle made just for you !! Lovely cropping & matching background of green & black !! I do hope that shoulder improves a bit soon.. you will have to go off sick !!! Can you get a dog walker in ?
March 18th, 2012
Great theme shot!!

great green bike shot in both meanings - shoulders aren't good to damage - makes everything hurt. My daughter did mine in lunging for blackberries when largish in a backpack and it took years to get better - not helped by the doctor saying rest it and laughing at the toddler I was carrying.
March 18th, 2012
@happypat That would be nice!! I'm not carrying as much stuff with me and trying to behave.... @shanne Bloomin' difficult to rest - I'm meeting up with my friend and her two littlies on Tuesday and I won't be able to help her out with the carrying :0(
March 18th, 2012
Agree with @shanne ...love all your bike shots! Hope the pain eases up soon!
March 18th, 2012
Love the composition!

Judith, it's a lovely bike shot, very much a 'Judith and Monty Image' ......

Thanks for your comment this afternoon on my final image. I decided last week that I was coming back to 365, albeit as a "post when you can (probably weekend images) 365' er"...I had planned to post last night, but events at white hart lane took over and I sat up until the early hours waiting for news of Fabrice Muamba. I wasn't at the match (it was an away game and was live on TV) so I was watching in horror from my sofa ! My wife was (unusually for her) watching the football too and it was so upsetting seeing what happened

I really appreciated your comments , your words sort of encapsulated why I enjoyed 365, a virtual community brought together by digital photographs.

Ii will be posting soon, I have some nice images to share
March 18th, 2012
@phil_howcroft Well that's great news - I'm looking forward to your pics. And it hasn't been the same posting a letterbox crop without you! All fingers crossed that Muamba is getting through the danger period and that the damage isn't too extensive. I'm sure BW are pulling together.

I love how you've framed just that part of the bike - perfect.
