One of the gates at Newnham College. The only entirely all female college remaining is looking lovely at the moment. And a top tip for visitors - the 'Buttery' (canteen) is open to all-comers for lunches during the summer holidays. Very quiet when I went past with a nice-sounding menu and it won't be expensive. Sorry I'm falling behind - just had to catch up on work and domestic life yesterday...
Absolutely charming. Love the ivy covered wall, the magnificent entryway and the delightful groups of flowers. And that pop of sunshine makes things extra special. :)
