It's always good to take advantage of the sunshine at this time of year. I could have taken some lovely shots of this lady but I thought it would be pretty embarrassing if she opened her eyes. At least from this angle I could pretend I was taking the bikes! Huge thanks for the amazing response to the last two shots - every view, comment, fav and follow is greatly appreciated.
Three good things:
1. Nigel did really well at his testing for 3rd Dan Black Belt yesterday.
2. Nigel can still move today after his testing yesterday and nothing broken apart from wooden boards...
3. Another beautiful day.
wow, the moment I saw the thumbnail I knew it was going to be a beautiful shot! It is a peaceful moment captured and apparantly shared, I can't feel that sun but I can imagine it and as I did I let out an audible sigh. wonderful photo!
I'm trying to think where I have seen her carrier bag...is it Monsoon? You can almost feel the warmth & my word aren't we in great need of a little sun on our faces! Lovely candid catch Judith! glad Nigel is in one piece & all bodes well for the actual event!
What a fabulous candid.....and you got a bike in too!!!!! Love it in b and w.....I keep trying bike shots "your style" but results are all horrid....plenty of old (but crappy) bikes but no old and beautiful places to locate them!! one day maybe!
@ruthmouch One day one will call to you!! To be fair Cambridge is stuffed with them - sadly some inconsiderate people stick carrier bags over their seats but you don't have to go far to find a photogenic one. I had a chuckle to myself about 365 yesterday as I waited for about 40 bikes to go past before I could cross the road!!
I love this..perfect in black and white! I love the stripes in back, the texture of her jacket, the roses? On her shopping bag. Just a great moment you captured!
this is a great street portrait - captured that feel of enjoying rare autumn sun! I wanted to do something similar yesterday but the man I was trying to get kept looking at me and I wasn't bravce enough to be blatent!!
Ooo love this one too. Weve gone too far the other way with the sun apparently rickets is even making a comeback! I know I am the whitest I have ever been since being in Asia...its just too hot outside.
And bravo to Nigel and the weather!
