When I looked at this in the camera I was disappointed that the bee wasn't side on but I'm pleased with his fluffiness so he's staying. And I hate borage in the garden (this was in a field) but I have to admit that the hairs are awesome. Very late posting as my iron and I are in meltdown.
Three good things:
1. Watching Mr Lucy Doolittle doing amazing things on BBC1 while ironing (me, not him).
2. New sandals for our trip to Florence - higher than anything else I possess so I probably won't get beyond the hotel in them.
3. Gas all reconnected and hole containing broadband cable safely closed up.
PS Nice large if you can be bothered.
Like a hover bee & those amazing hummer birds in foreign parts. Those little buds look like they have blue bows on them ....very opportune photo Judith.
I hope you can walk round Florence in those sandals!!
Someone has been posting quite a few shots of a naked bike ride i presume in London town..i was wondering where you are seeing as you post some wonderful shots of naked bikes...lol...have a good trip to Florence...the little ones A-levels seem to be going good all over by next week..phew..and phew again...during her 18th with a glass of Chardonnay i asked her where she would like to go..thankfully Barcelona..was her reply it could have been worse....phew...so a few days for all of us..i feel as if i have taken these A levels myself..lol...
@tsingtao I know exactly what you mean - I keep telling people I've finished my exams!! Barcelona should be great. Glad the A'levels are going well - bet she's nailing them.
Funny bee, looks like a mini teddy bear bouncing! We have borage and it gets out of hand but look on the bright side, it is great in a Pims and the bees love it. Great shot and thank you for mentioning Hubby. Fav
lovely bee shot. I've been trying to get borage established in our garden for the past couple of years, to no avail. Unfortunately I missed Mr @lucypics programme due to an unscheduled pub trip, but hope to see it on iPlayer in the next couple of days.
@jantan Bloody hell - it's a nightmare to get rid of - and those hairs hurt. The hens like it and @lucypics us right - you can put the flowers in gin but honestly it spreads everywhere.
@lucypics Thanks. I will have a look. I have been to an art exhibition this evening where one of the key pieces involved (slightly unfresh) pigs' hearts in custard - I can handle it! It was the Pimms thing that attracted me to it, but actually I am not a massive Pimms fan, so maybe I will just give up.
ha - come to look at your borage! (took me ages to find out what it was!) I did have the advantage that there was a whole field to choose from to shoot!
I hope you can walk round Florence in those sandals!!
