I headed to Histon today in a shameless attempt to cash in on @lesleyallen's duck with 21 ducklings find. It seems that they don't live on Histon Green after all but there was a mummy duck wandering around with a wowful disregard for her ducklings. Lesley says that 'her' mummy is very diligent - this one had some in the water, some struggling out on to the bank calling for her and some with her on land. This confident little chap ran around a bit and then headed back to the pond when he couldn't find his mum - sensible.

Lovely Judith.....they were heading under the bridge by the school at lunchtime, the mum was giving them a good telling off, but they just carried on.....as kids do!!
If I did not know that Easter is in the air... I would now. This is a great shot... the duckling has this "here I come, get out of my way" attitude. I just love it.
