Well I intended posting a photo from Midsummer Fair which is being set up at the moment and is massive this year. Loads of families already here - 2014 fashions appear to be skin tight day-glo and animal prints - pretty much the same as usual then!
And I arrived at the river just in time for a swan to chuck her cygnet off her back - I hung around to see if she'd let him back on as 'cygnet being carried by swan' is on my bucket list. But alas - and although the other cygnet photos are cute I've posted a few already. So I present to you - Monty! Looking delighted to be playing ball - and he features mainly because I bumped into the lovely vet student who looked after him in the hospital. She recognised him straight away and we had a nice chat. She's just waiting for graduation and will then be off to work with horses for a year.
Three GT:
1. She thought Monty looked really happy and well even though he's fat, barky and needs a good groom!
2. Sunshine on the arbour from whence I will be commenting shortly.
3. Generally a bit of a lazy day.
You are doing a proper photographers good deed by buying all Monty's stuff in matching red....a good eye for future photos!
How well & happy he looks& a free health assessment today too!
Lazy day sounds wonderful :). And I did miss good old Monty! Ah, the Midsummer Fair: every year around the time I was in Cambridge I miss it even more. Maybe you will still upload some pictures of it - for me :)?
Reminds me I should post a shot of Mid Winter's Farmers Market this weekend! Or else have a party! We used to do this complete with piper coming down the drive in the mist!
How fashion (and comfort) conscious!
