Going up the tower by judithg

Going up the tower

The door to the tower staircase is very small but the boy choristers fitted through OK - the big chaps had to duck! They went up in small groups as the steps are your typical ancient tower type that I particularly dislike - I would still have tackled them if I could have taken my camera up though and was pretty jealous of the official photographers going up there!
Gosh Judith, this is a great shot, lighting is perfect and the red on them really stands out against the beautiful architecture !!! love the door way!!! beautiful!!!

@phil_howcroft Oh thanks Phil!! Just a bit of tweaking with PicMonkey. Actually this is the same type as thing as the canvas - Daguerrotype 'frame' faded out quite a bit.

It makes you wonder about the shape of the doorway - is it to allow for a head and shoulders?
