Exactly the same as my other shot for today but edited in ribbet (picnik as was) just to see if it inspired me differently. I think I'll mostly stick with picmonkey but it's good to have options. I notice this sign has escaped waterstones 'apostrophe-free' rebranding.
Great picture, so many interesting details! Made me think of Knockturn Alley in the Harry Potter movies... Wouldn't wanna walk this street at night, but it's cool!

I would have to say this version would be my preference. Love the detail and the authentic feel of the shot.

I agree with @kimshots I prefer this one! I have tried ribbet but seems fairly similar to picmonkey so i'll stick with it for now.

Surprising how you can make the same photo look so different!! i do like this one very much but definitely prefer the other. This is ribbet..the first time I have heard of it.

@psychographer posted a thread about it - it's the old picnik but seems a bit out of date after picmonkey.

I prefer this shot. Somehow, to me, it's more atmospheric. The other shot gives, for me, an almost claustrophobic mood which isn't present in this version.

This shot gives it so much more definition and atmosphere. Like the pov.

I definitely prefer this version and it actually looks like a different shot to me!! My eye is drawn much more to all the details - interesting, thanks!

Like them both :D

Much prefer this version. This has a sort of 'dark alley' charm.

I think I like this one..great shot!

fav for me something nice about the crop and edit - cool!

Great light, textures and love how the alley diminishes in the shot!

Nice back alley - like these hidden places, bit of mystery with the figure.

i like this version better than the high key iphone pic judith ...do you think it has a feel of a victorian jail / gaol to it ?
