Egrets in flight

Bit of a challenge for the trusty autofocus (or untrusty I find on my Canon). White birds in a white, just about to start snowing sky.... Still the egrets flew past 3 times to give me a fighting chance.

I am having trouble with my autoficus too. I dropped this lens/camera last July and the problem seems to be getting worse.

nice minimalistic shot judith ....nicely presented......Do you have an AI Servo setting on your camera for focussing on moving object...that might help
