I slowly followed this little squirrel in a pure non-threatening manner. I stopped when he hid behind that tree. I just waited with my camera and sure enough, after a short wait, he peeked around the tree to see if I was still there.
"Yes. I'm still here!" I told him, then snapped the picture. Cute encounter! He made me laugh.
