Waterloo Station this morning. I’ve always loved a train journey – the chance to sit back, relax, and watch the countryside and rows of houses drift by through the window. It’s one of the few times when there’s no real hurry; a comfortable space to read, catch up on emails, or simply enjoy the journey itself.
The train was fairly empty this morning, which made the journey even more peaceful. An encouraging visit at the other end made the whole day that little bit more enjoyable.
