Dying filth fly

Warning... unpleasant topic to read. Don't read while you are eating lol. Just a few facts about the object I photographed like usual.

Flies don't offer the environment anything, they are part of the environment. But flies do serve some very good purposes. They eat decaying matter, and they lay their eggs in decaying matter so they will eat it when they hatch, very gross that they are often call filth fly. Also flies are food for many other living things such as plants and animals and reptiles.

Another fact about flies is that they can't chew, so in order to eat, they spit-up enzymes onto their food, which dissolves it and lets them slurp it.

The adult housefly can live up to one month in the wild. Flies survive longest in warmer temperatures.

In the summer months, some Australian would wear a hat with hanging corks to keep away flies. In some area fly net would be highly recommended to keep them away from your face and ears.
Your word "warning" should be in caps and highlighted! LOL. luckily I was not eating.

!!!! WARNING - UNPLEASANT TOPIC !!!!

@littleconnie is Louie slang for fly?
@gazzatron i don't know what happened to this fly, maybe it has reached a month of lifespan. It was in his last few breaths, still moving but very week.

@julianneovie there was an add in Australia for flyspray and the fly in the add - soon to be deceased was called Louie. The punch line of the add was "bye bye Louie the fly".
Fun fact here: the add was written by Bryce Courtney
