Is the glass half empty or half full? by julianneovie

Is the glass half empty or half full?

It's a common expression or a test in a particular situation to determine one’s perspective towards reality, optimism if it is half full and pessimism if it is half empty.

We tend to compare ourselves with others, what they have that we don't have. A person with the glass half empty focus on things that are missing but not on the things that they already have.

The grass on the other side can be greener, but are they real? Happiness is not how it looks but how it feels. We need to appreciate what we have and not taking things for granted. A person with a glass half full is concentrating on the things he/she has and not on the things that are missing. Now I am thirsty :D
Fantastic shot fav.

@julianneovie refraction (bending of light) is what occurrs when light passes from one medium to another of different density.

Thanks. I finally get it (not 100% sure). It's new term for me hehe. Thanks for kindly explaining what it means. It took me a while to understand 'bend'.
