After we talked about how Jesus is our Healer, I had my 1st Grade class at church make get well cards to give away. They really enjoyed it and worked hard. Their little drawings are so precious. My son's card is the green one in the very middle.
I love it! What a great idea for a lesson! I have been thinking lately how God is our healer. I love the fact that He not only heals our bodies but He heals our hearts. I was badly hurt emotionally about five years ago and I was thinking the other day that He has healed my heart from that. Such a mighty God we serve! Thanks for teaching the kids about God's love and characteristics!
