Our hike in the woods today yielded one tasty treat; a morel mushroom! I wasn't expecting to find this as I thought the season had passed. This will be savored tomorrow: sliced, dredged in flour, and fried to a crispy brown. YUMMERS!
@nanderson Yes, I've heard they're really really expensive! I fried and ate it yesterday. Of course, my husband got half since he carried it out of the woods for me so I could keep taking pictures. Ha ha ha! :)
