Field Scabious by julienne1

Field Scabious

The peak time for wild flowers may have been and gone, but there are still plenty in the places where grass has been left rather than mowed. In the local nature reserve at the moment there are lots of scabious, knapweeds, clovers, thistles, teasels, plantains, trefoils, mallows, bedstraw and many more. Still lits of butterflies too despite the rain today.
Nice pic!
