River Cary by julienne1

River Cary

This spot is just beyond Somerton Door bridge near the little town of Somerton. The trees are Crack Willows which grow all over the Somerset Level because they like the damp conditions and their roots help to stabilise river and rhyne banks. The sky looks blue in the photo but in reality it was really dark and threatening yet more rain
A lovely scene.
