Weird monster

This strange little thing is a Bloody-nosed Beetle larva. I've seen quite a few on stalks of goose grass in the last few days. I posted a picture of the adult beetle here last year https://365project.org/julienne1/365/2018-05-27

IT's strange how human babies look like miniature adults (sort of) but insect larvae give no indication to the imago. He looks like a little tank,
