Wheatear juvenile by julienne1

Wheatear juvenile

This youngster seems to be the only offspring of the female that I posted yesterday https://365project.org/julienne1/365/2019-09-07
It must have been a late brood because it hardly looks old enough to fend for itself let alone fly all the way to Africa with its mum. I do hope that the abundance of insects around at the moment are enough to feed it up and give it plenty of energy for its long migration.
Beautiful shot.

Very cool shot. Doesn't it fascinate you that birds can fly such long distances?!
