Autumn berries 17: Mistletoe by julienne1

Autumn berries 17: Mistletoe

A parasitic plant that may not kill its host but can seriously weaken it over time because it does take water and nutrients from it. It's enjoyed by birds, who are mainly responsible for spreading it from tree to tree, but it's toxic to humans and pets. It's mainly found in the South of England and Wales and host trees are mostly hawthorn, poplar, lime and apple.
yours is so different to the native one I have here - great opportunistic plant.
