Powhiri .... Welcome..

Powhiri is the Maori word for Welcome.. and this little ceremony was witnessed at the Auckland Museum last week.. The Maori lady was calling out the Welcome while the man was blowing on the Conk Shell.. inviting visitors into the Maori show... We had Camera Club last night and this was one of my entries.. Set subject ... Looking Down.. I was 2 stories up and this was in the Foyer ...

They have wonderful displays and little concerts in that Museum! Auckland should be proud and you, of this good picture so far up!
