Tribute to a Clubby

I went out to the Coast to hopefully catch the last few races of the Thunder Cat boat racing.. But I was too late... But as I was watching the swimmers ..( who were all between the flags) I saw this group of Surf Life Saving members walking down to the beach and put the rescue boat into the water... I noticed they had buckets of flowers.. I asked one of the girls what this little ceremony was about... Sadly it was a tribute to a young girl who was tragically killed in a car accident during the week.. They went out to beyond the surf and sprinkled the flowers... very moving...
