As we ( New Zealand ) are to first to see the sun of a new day I thought I would get out a take a shot of the start of 2016.. Had to battle the elements a bit as it was blowing a gale and just starting to rain but I manage to grab a few shots.. This is looking out over the Waikato river ( NZ longest river) and the River Hills.. All the best fellow 365er's for a great year ahead..
@dide@alinz It was very tempting to not bother with it.. but when a glow started to come on the bedroom wall I thought I had best get up and do it.. clock on camera is 1 hour slow though..
@maggiemae Haven't reset my camera time since daylight saving Maggie but early enough for a new year day... weather turned to rubbish since this ... but we do need rain..
A beautiful dawn breaking Julz. Talked to Brian this morning & he is really ready for rain....dry & windy isn't good! A good downpour is needed! Loved looking at your photos in 2015 & looking forward to more of the same in 2016.
@happypat Yes Pat this was the best part of the day.. It started raining just as I was out taking these shots are still drizzling .. so it all helps.. Looking forward to our catch up in the next month or so..
