Have just arrived home after a fantastic few day's away at a beautiful Island just off the coast of Auckland City.. It is a Wild life Sanctuary for New Zealand endemic and native birds.. It has a automated Lighthouse and is open for day visitors and a few people can stay over night or longer in the old Lighthouse keepers house... Our Camera Club had 3 day's there and have had a fantastic time.. walked fantastic walks and great friendship had beautiful weather the whole time.. now time to catch up... check out @dide shot's as well ..
Great view of our lighthouse keeper's homestay. A magnificent few days with lots of laughter, exercise and sunshine. And of course the reason we visited - the extraordinary wildlife, including the kiwi.
