Matapouri bay .. early morning..

Staying with my Sister on a Northern East Coast beach .. so thought I would have a early morning wakeup so that I could catch the sunrise... All good intentions... It never really happened .. the top left was as good as it got .. but I did enjoy an early morning walk along a deserted beach..
The Kowhai tree's are flowering on the near by cliffs and the flowers are being washed up on the beach ... not the usual beach litter..
