Today @dide and I travelled over to Coromandel to meet up with @kiwichick and her son Rueben who are on holiday visiting her family at the moment .. we had a lovely time with lunch and then went to Driving Creek Railway which is a narrow gauge bush and mountain railway.. It was built by a local potter Barry Brickell who started this railway to go up into the hills to get out the local clay to do his pottery.. to diversfy he then opened it up to the public .. and has a very popular tourist attraction..
What a great day out you all had, any chance to go to the coromandel I would take it!! Two good things meeting zlesley & her son & seeing fantastic scenery!
