We have been hit with another huge deluge of rain thanks to Cyclone Debbie ... there is water lying around where I have never seen it before... the top left is my B-I-L's farm... and it will be a while before he could put his cows in these paddocks.. the falls are the local water hole that the kids like to swim in summer... lower right is what is usually a babbling brook... here is the link to a previous shot of Waitangi Falls... http://365project.org/julzmaioro/around-and-abou/2014-11-29
Amazing amount of water - by the time I visited Waitangi Falls this afternoon, the water level had receded heaps, but was still a roaring torrent! Great images to show how much water is lying around.
Poor you, all this rain does make such difficulties. Have you had to stand off your cows? You are higher up so. Ignite escaoe the soggy ground perhaps? So much rain falling everywhere in the world excep the ones who need it badly.
@happypat no we just pick and choose which paddocks the girls no into.. our pond is nearly fuĺl it stayed dry last year till June.. saw a good movie today .. A Street cat called Bob.. have you seen it..
