Doris .... by julzmaioro

Doris ....

This photo turned up in the Family archives this week .. It was a bit faded sepia colour so I put it through PS and improved the colour and enhanced the quality..
This is my Mother-in-Law Doris she was born in 1917 and this is on the occasion of her cousins wedding at which she was a bridesmaid ... we think she would of been about 19 or 20 in this photo.
She was a lovely lady and a great MIL but unfortunatly she died and a ralitivly young age of 66 so missed so much of seeing our children grow up and meeting her Great Grandchildren.
Such a lovely old photo

She would have been 100 this year. She looks like a lovely lady. I had a wonderful mother in law too, so thankful she lived into her eighties.

This is charming. The quality of the image makes it look as though she's a modern young woman who is "dressing up." Lovely.

It's lovely having these old shots, seeing what people looked like when they were younger, and the fashions.
