As I was out trying to stop some escaping cows I saw the rain coming over the river hills.. with the thunder rumblig in the distance ... We have had two weeks of beautiful summer weather and are now starting to want some rain ... Something I didn't say for a while as we had a very wet and miserable winter ...
Since this photo was taken we have had some lovely warm rain .. which has been great ..
We drove from Paeroa this afternoon and it was raining there. The closer we got to Te Kauwhata the drier it became but we had the thunder. Some rain would be nice
@happypat George just added up the rain for Nov and only had 41 mm campared to 123 mm last November .. so hope it's not the start of a dry spell... some nice warm rain at night would be perfect..
