I went for a walk this evening around the farm and Farmer George was feeding out silage to the cows after milking .. It has got extremely dry and so the grass has stopped growing so silage is fed out as a substitute to just grass... this is our view from a bit higher spot than usual .. you can see a glimpse of the blue of the Waikato river and the River Hills .. Lets hope we get some worthwhile rain soon...
