I'm the King of the Castle... by julzmaioro

I'm the King of the Castle...

I picked some Hibiscus flowers out of my garden this afternoon and thought I woul get a shot of them grouped altogether as there is some lovely colours.. from a very pale pink to a very vivid orange ... but as I put them altogether in my 'tent' the ants started to come out .. I started to do 2 digit dispatching but as soon as I got back to the camera more would appear.. So I thought I would just work with it.. so on with the 50mm lens plus the 25mm extension tube and this is the result .. hard to get them still right on the focus point .. but pretty pleased with this shot .. I had picked another shot ( of Ant jumping off) but Abby ( my able assistant) said she like this one best.. She also helped with the editing and framing... I think she did a pretty good job..
Really like the little bits of pollen on the Ant's back ...
