This was the 'big' view from the top of the hill.. we are looking down on the little village of Port Waikato which use to a busy port but then become just a place to go for summer holidays but is now got several permanent residents.. nothing more the a small cafe' and small grocery store and a mobile takeaway in the weekends .. It is a 1/2 hour commute to the nearest town .. It is a favourite spot with fisherman .. either off the beach or going out through the bar after the 'big ones'.. ie Marlin and tuna.. The surf beach of Sunset beach is very popular with surfers .. http://365project.org/julzmaioro/365
