This afternoon we attended a Regional Netball game .. This is a National comp and today it was between two Auckland teams .. The Stars are who we support and are based near where our Grandaughters play .. It was a very exciting game and the final score was 53 to 52 to the Stars .. So they managed to keep their 3rd spot on the table...
At the 1/4 times they had some 'audience participation' and our Son-in-law's name was called out .. he and 2 others had to dress up and then run down the court and the first to get a goal won a prize given by the local jewellery shop ... Well his time as a Dad on 'Court side' paid off as he was the first to get a goal.. He won a sweet little ring so with a wife a two daughters in the household there was a discussion as to who would get it .. lucky 'Mum' was the one that it fitted...
