Busy day today and no chance for a new photo .. So here we are back on our Kiwi Road adventure.. An old shed was the attraction to stop at this site but there proved to have a few treasures.. It must of been an old house site and here was a fantastic old Camellia tree.. it was unusual as there were multi coloured blooms on the tree.. light pink, pink and white.. Our fellow clubby had a light with him and he placed it under the tree, and added so much more to the scene..
Well it’s beautiful. I’ve had old rose bushes that had different colored roses when the bushes were really old. Probably something to do with the original grafting.
This looks quite an old tree, I did think camellias were more of a shrubby Bush here....always surprised when the flower when it’s cold, uncanny seeing the flowers in the middle of winter somehow.
