Tulips From Amsterdam.... Well Auckland ..

Another spring shot .. taken the other day while at Eden Garden Tulip Festival.. I was pretty happy when there was a mass display of orange tulips .. Orange being one of my favourite colours.. I liked how this 'central' tulip was 'looking' at me...The white in the background are primulars..

Now I have Tulips from Amsterdam going through my head! I can see why they are beloved of large flower beds...so colourful & attractive for any area from small gardens to large municipal gardens!
