Spring certainly has put on a good show today .. been warm and almost like summer temps, and as I drove past this lovely display of poppies in town today I could not resist to get a shot with the beautiul blue sky backdrop.. I know the gardeners will be around soon to clear these beds for the summer flowering blooms...
How lovely, we still have them flowering here!! There is a trend to sew all rounderbouts and expansive roadside verges with wild flower seeds, the results are colourful spectacular displays. The poppies that are still in flower were a late sowing and they are giving a fabulous display in a little village just down the road from us. The only downside is you can’t get a photo because of where they are!!
